Shared Current explores the relationship between shark and remora, two species moving through the same waters in very different ways. Remoras gain transportation and access to food while attaching to or swimming alongside larger marine animals.
Rendered in loose watercolor washes with flowing teal, ochre, and warm accents, the piece reflects one of the central ideas behind Symbiosis: survival is rarely a solitary act.
